# Affiliate & sponsorship disclosure

*Last updated: October 21, 2026*

**Right now, AI Explained Plainly has no affiliate links and no paid sponsorships.**

That may change someday. If it does, these are the rules we'll follow.

**Affiliate links.** Some links might earn us a commission if you buy something, at no extra cost to you. Any page or email with affiliate links will say so clearly near the top, in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidelines.

**Sponsorships.** Any sponsored section in the newsletter or on the site will be clearly labeled as sponsored.

Money never decides what we recommend or how we rate a tool. Commissions and sponsorships don't change that. We recommend tools on their merits, and that includes free tools that earn us nothing.

If you ever spot an affiliate link or sponsorship we didn't disclose, please tell us so we can fix it.
